Sales Associate

 

15-20 hours per week

We are currently looking to add a Sales Associate to our team who will be responsible for running the sales floor and helping maintain wider store operations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, creative problem-solving skills, while offering exceptional customer service.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Running the sales floor and driving overall sales through positive conversation and honest recommendations
• Comfortable resolving challenging customer service situations
• Collaborating with fellow team members to keep the sales floor clean and organized at all times
• Assisting in maintaining the stock room and setting up merchandise displays on the sales floor
• Develop an understanding of the needs, wants and expectations of the customer
• Develop an understanding of Shopify software
• Participate in sales and merchandising discussions to develop a greater understanding of how specific actions impact overall results
• Perform opening and closing duties
• Partner with Store Leaders in planning and managing special events
• Execute online order fulfillment

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Lift/Carry/Move 40 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods, when required
• Previous retail experience (luxury preferred)
• Familiarity with POS (point of sale) systems (Shopify preferred)
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to work a flexible schedule of 15-20 hrs/wk, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to juggle and complete priorities thoroughly and with a sense of urgency
